MeetPro FAQ

How much does MeetPro Cost?

MeetPro is $200 per year for five activations, meaning you can have MeetPro installed in up to five computers at a time. All features are included, including Cross Country support. All upgrades are included. MeetPro is constantly updated, and you are never charged for upgrades.

Is MeetPro available in my language?

MeetPro currently supports English and Greek. If you would like to provide translation for your language, please email meetpro@directathletics.com.

Should I be using MeetPro1 or MeetPro2?

If you're new to MeetPro, you should use MeetPro2. If you're comfortable with MeetPro1 and would prefer not to switch, you can continue to use it.

Does MeetPro work with Fully Automatic Timing Systems?

Yes! MeetPro works with the most popular timing systems, including FinishLynx, Flash Timing, Ipico, FieldLynx, EagleEye, NK2000xc, Time Machine, Chronotrack, and others.

Instructions for Using MeetPro with MileSplit Live

Track Settings

Note: Install MileSplit Live on the computer in which you run MeetPro by copying and pasting the following link in your URL address bar: files.milesplit.us/MileSplitLive.exe

Steps for Track Settings:

  1. Create an empty folder on your desktop for your MeetPro files. You will need to clear all of the contents in this folder before every meet.
  2. In MeetPro, click on Interfaces → Publish To Disk → Setup.
  3. Set the directory to the same folder created in step 1.
  4. Match all settings as shown in the provided screenshot.
  5. Click on "Interfaces" → "Live update Setup".
  6. Check "Publish to Disk" and "On Results Update".
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click on "Reports" → "Report Settings" and ensure "Show Event Numbers" is checked.
  9. Login to MileSplit live and select the meet you are timing.
  10. Select "MeetPro" from the "Database Location for this Meet" dropdown.
  11. Select the MeetPro folder.
  12. Select "Start Publishing".

Steps for XC Settings:

  1. Create an empty folder on your desktop for your MeetPro files. You will need to publish a new file for each meet before starting MS Live.
  2. (Recommended but not required) Load MeetPro events before the meet by selecting the "Enter Results" tab, clicking the first event, and inserting a row for each event.
  3. Repeat step 2 for each event.
  4. Follow steps 4-12 as listed in the Track Settings above.

MileSplit Live

MileSplit Live Field WebApp

Get started with the new MileSplit Live Field WebApp. It is currently in Beta and should be used for testing purposes only.

MS Live start-up instructions:

  1. Update MileSplit Live to version 1.0.82 or later.
  2. Select a new meet in MileSplit Live and choose "MileSplit Live Field" from the dropdown. Browse to the folder where the .LFF files should be saved.
  3. Start Publishing.

Field App Start-Up Instructions

  1. On any device with a modern browser, navigate to live-field.milesplit.com.
  2. Select your meet, then the appropriate event.
  3. Horizontal Events: Set up the scoring settings.
  4. Vertical Events: Enter measurement type and bar heights. Use the batch add option to create multiple heights.
  5. Check In: Manage athlete statuses (in, out, unknown) and proceed to scoring.
  6. Scoring: Input scores and manage athlete attempts.
  7. Create Final: Finalize results after prelims if needed.
  8. Submit Results: Confirm all results and sync to MileSplit Live.
